After-Hours Sick Care and Emergencies
If your child is experiencing a life-threatening, medical emergency, please call 911.
If your child is sick or injured after normal office hours and it is not a life-threatening emergency, the following resources can be used to get the care needed.
After-Hours Doctor Visit
When we are closed and you cannot wait for an appointment, we recommend PediaKare or Summit Urgent Care.
After-Hours Call-Back
For after-hour needs, call the Just Us Kids Pediatrics office and you will be linked to the answering service. The service will guide you to either the CHOA nurse line or the physician on-call. You may also want to check with your insurance for a nurse advice line that is free of charge. We utilize Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Nurse Advice Line. CHOA charges a $25 fee for each after hours call to the patient.
